DXF 2016 Summer Interns

This summer, we're incredibly excited to support Grow Detroit's Young Talent! We've partnered with M-1 Rail to show the best of Detroit to two talented interns. They've been busy helping us with our summer tour schedule, and we'd like for them to introduce themselves. Thanks Michaela Jennings & Kyle McMurtry, and welcome to the DXF team!

Why Detroit?

Growing up in a small college town (East Lansing), I always dreamed of living in Detroit because of the tall buildings, exciting lights and festive atmosphere. Now that I'm a resident, I do not plan on leaving. I believe Detroit is on the brink of becoming one of the best cities this country has ever seen, and I love feeling like I am contributing to the process of rebuilding Detroit into the city we all love.

Why Detroit?

The motto of our magnificent city is: "Speramus meliora; resurget cineribus." In English: "We hope for better things; it will arise from the ashes."

Detroit has entered an era of significant growth, develoment and revitalization. This change is restoring Detroit's place as one of the most significant cities in the United States and the world. I have been a resident of the city all of my life, and love being part of its development.
